This is a "stand-alone" access control system designed for low cost and easy
installation using a minimal amount of additional components.
All you need for minimal operation is a simple 12 or 24 VDC power supply and an
electric door lock.
All necessary relays and other security features are built into its thin
profile, allowing most models to be installed into a standard electrical box.
This 6500 Series replaces our 6000 Series. It is exactly the same as the 6000
except the printer option has been removed and replaced with 165 user codes, a
security lockout feature and increased voltage range to 24 VDC.
This keypad is ideal for storage rooms, garage door, utility rooms, vehicle
alarms, activating a security camera, arming, disarming or shunting a security
system and other security applications.
A tamper switch should be used or a fused line should be activated when the unit
is removed from the mounting area.
